Nairaland Owner, Seun Osewa Launches Nairaland Ads

Owner of Nigeria's most engaging website, Nairaland.com, Seun Osewa seems to have decided to make a big leap into the internet advertising market by launching independent advertising on Nairaland. The implication is that he is no longer relying on Google Adsense for Ads and a large part of revenue for his website.

He will still maintain some degree of advertising relationship with Google because he still has Google's Custom Search running on Nairaland, this will fetch him some revenue from Google although make no mistake, he now has control over what is by far the largest chunk of his advertising revenue. Radamel Falcao, the Colombia striker whose hat-trick shot down Chelsea in the European Super Cup, may join the London club in January. 

Reports in South America last night said a pre-agreement between Falcao's team Atletico Madrid and Chelsea has been struck in a deal expected to be worth at least £48million. 

Falcao, 26, has already scored six goals in three matches this season and is seen as one of the world's deadliest strikers.
